Defensive Carbine Basic

The one man home clearing course is the basics for clearing your own home with just one person. Students will learn to clear hallways and different types of rooms while encountering multiple types of encounters from gun wielding burglars to compliant and non-compliant no shoot targets. For this course students will not be training with just paper targets but reactive targets that will fall depending on where it has been shot. This course will open up students to further courses in our CQB curriculum.

When & where

  • 10:00 – 17:00

Required Gear

  • Semi automatic carbine (smg or .22)
  • 2-3 mags for carbine
  • Semi automatic pistol
  • 2 mags for pistol
  • Rifle sling
  • Mag pouch on belt or carrier (chest rig or plate carrier)
  • 4 box of ammo (can be purchased at the range for 1050 per box)
  • Comfortable clothing and shoes no sandals, cap or hat recommended
  • Ear & eye protection
